Logo:  Bicentennial logo is missing in this variation.  Originally, I thought these were just preseason head shots, with the logo to be sewn on later.  However, the other two pictures are from two different games, so the jerseys must've been worn more than once.  In the advertisement, the guy in the foreground is sporting a jersey without the logo; the guy in the background is wearing a jersey with it.

Other: This is the classic Dips jersey every one remembers.  They wore this style from 77-80.  They also wore the red version at home during those years.  The jerseys look the same at first glance.  However, they were different each year.

In '77 Dips jerseys were a cotton  T-Shirt style.  They had 2 versions of the red jersey.  In the first part of the season they had a simple shirt with simple lettering.  This jersey had a red collareThe font is smaller and little more rounded. 

The Shoulder striping of later years is also not present.

In '77 Dips jerseys were a cotton  T-Shirt style.  They had 2 versions of the red jersey.  Half-way through the season the Diplomats  moved to a nicer cotton jersey.  This jersey had a white collar.

The Shoulder striping of later years is also not present.
