Logo: It looks like the early 1974 jerseys didn't have the logo, but it was added later in the year.  Need more research on this.  I base this assumption on the Sinclair photo.  The Sinclair photo is probably from 1974 against the Lancers.  However, it is on Astroturf, so it could be a 1975 home game.  Double-however, Sinclair only played one game in 1975 and that was against Vancouver.  The 75 Whitecaps would have had names on the back.

Manufacturer: Unknown, the manufacturer's logo is missing in '78.  My '78 photos aren't very high resolution, so it is difficult to document that no manufacturer's logo existed during the '78 season.  However, the road jersey definitely did not have an external logo. I fairly confident the same mix existed on the 78-79 home jerseys.

Other:  Sounders wore this style in 1978-79.  The '78 version does not have the manufacturer's logo on the outside. The '79 has the Admiral logo on the upper right.

Also the fabric looks to be different between the '78 and '79.  Compare the McAlister photo with the Steve Buttle jersey below.  Need more research.
