Logo: The logo appears to be a patch.  It is different from the home logo.  I only have this one photo of the 77 road front.  My guess is they had the same logo as the home and added the patch towards then end of the season.  An number of teams did this.  (77 Strikers, 78 Roughnecks)  Need more research

Other: I'm not sure I have the details of the Bill Drozd shirt correct.  The numbering and name looks like a 78 styles. However, the stripes appear to be a 79 style.  Drozd only played in 78.  I need some more research.

Manufacturer: Adidas  The Adidas logo on the 1979-80 jerseys is a deep gold.  I'm not positive about 1980.  In later years it becomes a pale yellow.  It appears that there was some mixing and matching of jerseys from year to year.  Look at the 1981 team photo below.  Frantz Mathieu (7), Brett Hall (23), and  Dave Huson (16) all have the gold logo.  Everyone else is wearing the pale Adidas logo.

 Photos of the yellow jersey are difficult to find during this period.  It is possible the yellow had similar variations to the black.  I just don't have enough evidence.
