Manufacturer: Unknown Logo: The '77 logo is hard to follow. In the team picture you see some jerseys with "Strikers" screened on the upper right. Others have nothing. They probably washed off. Other: Gerd Mueller joined the
Strikers in 1979. The jersey he is holding is similar to
1978’s with the stripe running around the back. It is
unclear if he ever wore this jersey. Note the detailed
point to the "5" in his number "15." I’m unsure if other
numbers in the ‘78 jerseys contained this kind of detail.
Later jerseys did not (notice the number in Mueller’s 1980 photo
further down the page). |

Manufacturer: Adidas Logo: Screened on. The Strikers name is bigger in 1979 than in 1978. Name on Back: Screened on, a patch is used when the jersey is being recycled from another player. Numbers: Screened on Other: The middle red stripe doesn't go around to the back in 1979. The color of the yellow moves from an orange yellow to a pale yellow. I'm not sure the pale yellow version didn't exist in 1977-78. Need more research. The orange yellow definitely disappears after 1978. |
