NASL Soccer Washington Dips 80 Home Jersey Wim Jansen 79 Style

This is a very interesting jersey.  The Dips logo still has the shortened "i" and Adidas logo that was used from 1977-79.  However, the Adidas logo is also on the upper right of the chest.  This is the 1980 style.  It would have been sewn into the jersey.  It appears the '79 logo was Heat pressed an '80 blank.  Wim Jansen only played in '80.  I have no game photos of this variation. Need more research.

This is a 1979 Andries Maseko jersey that was recycled to a Wim Jansen jersey in early 1980.  You can see Maseko's name under the nameplate.
